Reminder - What Are Demos Node NFTs?

Demos Node NFTs are Solana-based digital assets that serve as your key to becoming the first validators on the Demos Network. When you set up your node, the NFT acts as your security stake, enabling you to participate in our Proof of Representation consensus mechanism and securing the Demos network.

Each node NFT can be transferred for 40,000 DEM tokens at any point after Token Generation Event (TGE). However, only these NFTs provide access to superior validator rewards only available for those that put in the effort, to run their validators whilst the network is bootstrapped.

Node Sale Structure

We're releasing a total of 500 Node NFTs. We've reserved 100 for key community members, investors, moderators, administrators, and ambassadors who made this journey possible. That leaves 400 NFTs available for purchase at $1,200 USD each, with a limit of 5 per community member during the initial phase. After the community phase, all limits are removed. Each NFT represents 40,000 DEM tokens that become exchangeable post-TGE.

How the Sale Works

Community Phase: The first two weeks are exclusively for our community. During this phase, you can purchase up to 3 NFTs 5 NFTs (Yes we changed it to 5 based on your requests) at $1,200 each.

Open Season: Starting October 15th, if any NFTs remain, we open sales to everyone with no purchase limits.

Are You on the List?

We're giving first access to our most dedicated supporters. You qualify for the community phase if you meet any of these criteria:

Token Holders: Did you hold at least 1 Kaiba, OOO, or Gjeite token at snapshot date? Then you're automatically whitelisted. We took snapshots of Kaiba and OOO holders on June 4th, 2024, and Gjeite holders on June 12th, 2024.

Discord OGs: If you're rocking that OG badge in Discord, both your Solana and Ethereum wallets linked to your Demos ID are whitelisted. This showcases our Cross-Context Identity technology in action.

Alpha Leaders: Made it to the top 100 on our Alpha leaderboard? Your linked accounts are golden. The final leaderboard snapshot happens on September 29th, so there's still time to climb the ranks, Your linked Solana and Ethereum wallets will also be whitelisted.

Pay Any Way You Want

Here's where things get interesting. You can buy from any chain and receive your NFT on Solana. We accept payments from Ethereum, Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, and Solana.

The process is simple: log in with your whitelisted wallet, pay with USDC (Sol or EVM) or USDT (EVM only) from the chain and wallet you prefer, tell us where you want your Solana NFT delivered, and watch our cross-chain technology work its magic. You stay put while we handle all the complexity—that's the Omniweb promise. The site address will be released on 1st October.

Why These NFTs Actually Matter

Remember the good citizen requirements from our previous articles, node runners have a big responsibility. They are required to set-up their nodes, maintain them, keep them up to date and responsive, you are a service provider to the Omniweb and part of our decentralised future.

Whilst the artwork is sexy as hell, these aren't just profile pictures or collectibles. Each NFT is exchangeable for 40,000 DEM tokens after TGE should you wish to relinquish your right to run a validator.

Important Dates

The community sale begins October 1st for whitelisted members only. The Alpha leaderboard snapshot occurs on September 29th. If any NFTs remain after the community phase, general sales open to everyone on October 15th.
