The past few months have been an incredible adventure for the Demos Network. We set out to build the foundation for the Omniweb - a seamless integration layer that bridges disparate blockchains and web contexts. What began as an ambitious vision has now evolved into a robust technical ecosystem, thanks to the dedication of our brave Voyagers who tirelessly tested, debugged, and provided invaluable feedback during our testnet phase.

Key Milestones Achieved

Our innovative Proof of Representation consensus mechanism has proven its efficiency and security through rigorous testing. By dynamically selecting a representative shard of validators for each block, we've managed to combine the best of decentralization with unprecedented scalability and throughput.

We've successfully established the cornerstone of the Omniweb - our ability to execute operations across multiple blockchains. This functionality allows dApps to read data from one chain, compute on another, and record the results on a third, all in a single seamless transaction flow.

The Demos Network now serves as a bridge between traditional web services and blockchain ecosystems. Our DAHR (Data Agnostic HTTP(S) Relay) Proxy system enables secure, verifiable data from Web2 sources to be brought on-chain without compromising on speed or security.

Perhaps most exciting has been the development of our Cross-Context Identities (CCI) system, establishing the foundation for a universal identity layer spanning both traditional web services and blockchain networks. This breakthrough enables users to maintain a unified digital presence across multiple contexts while preserving privacy and security.

Through our Voyagers program, community members undertook challenging tasks that pushed the boundaries of what's possible on our network. These dedicated testers didn't just click buttons - they engaged deeply with our protocol, providing technical feedback that directly shaped our development. Their contributions have been instrumental in refining our technology.

Testnet Phase Closure

With the successful completion of our testnet phase, we're pleased to announce that allocations for our brave Voyagers are now being assigned. Your commitment to testing, identifying edge cases, and helping us resolve issues has been remarkable, and we're excited to recognize your contributions.

Introducing Alpha Phase

Building on the strong foundation established during testnet, we're thrilled to announce the launch of our Alpha phase. This marks a significant step forward in our journey toward the Omniweb, introducing several groundbreaking features and improvements.

Our innovative gas, swaps and payment abstraction will make handling transactions seamless across multiple chains. Users will be able to pay for cross-chain operations using their token of choice, removing one of the major friction points in the Web3 experience.

Alpha phase will introduce our Layer 2 Parallel Subnetworks (L2PS) system, enabling specialized environments with unique requirements to operate in parallel with the main Demos network. This opens up possibilities for high-throughput applications that require privacy and customization.

We're excited to unveil our dApp: Identity- an integrated wallet solution that will be released iteratively throughout Alpha phase. This application addresses fragmentation at the user level, bringing together all the powerful features of Demos in a unified, intuitive interface. Users will be able to manage identities, assets, and transactions across multiple chains without complexity.

Alpha Incentives Program

The Alpha incentives will leverage our own application to demonstrate how a unified identity transforms the Web3 user experience. Through practical use cases, participants will experience firsthand the innovation that can be achieved when fragmentation is eliminated. These incentives will be open to all, with sign-ups beginning in the next two weeks.

Unlike the technically demanding testnet phase, Alpha testing will be accessible to a broader range of participants with varying technical backgrounds. This new program will offer opportunities for technical users to deploy complex dApps, non-technical users to test interface usability, community members to provide feedback, and partners to integrate with the Demos ecosystem.
